Super Millions Poker Open offering big payouts at Ignition Poker

Ignition Poker customers could be in for a highly profitable weekend as the Super Millions Poker Open series concludes with its big money events.

The Super Millions Poker Open kicked off on Ignition Poker in mid-July. It is comprised of 139 tournaments with mid to high level buy-ins with $4.5 million guaranteed throughout the event.

The Main Event is this Saturday, August 18, but that’s not the only big-money tournament on the schedule this weekend.

When does Super Millions Poker Open get started?

Before the main event on Saturday players can get started early with the Early Main Event, beginning at 7:19 am. This tournament made for early-risers, has a $82 buy-in and a $12,000 guaranteed prize pool.

To limber up for the main event players can also take advantage of the Mini Main Event on Saturday at 3:19 pm. The Mini Main Event has a $109 buy-in with a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool.

Now for the big one, the main event. The cards will be in the air for the main event starting at 5:19 pm. The tournament has a $450 buy-in and a guaranteed prize pool of $400,000. If that buy-in is too rich for your bankroll don’t worry. There are several satellite tourneys available which can allow you to secure a seat in the main event for as little as $4.40.

The road to the main event starting at $4.40 has been dubbed the grinder’s path. The $4.40 satellite tournaments run daily at 6:38 am, 2:38 pm, 8:38 pm, and 11:38 pm. The winners of those tournaments will receive a ticket to a $27.50 satellite where at least one seat in the main event is guaranteed to be available.

You can also earn your way into the main event by taking the high roller’s path, or the sit & go path.

To get in through the high roller’s path your can pay $55 to buy directly into a satellite tournament where at least one seat into the main event will be available. You can also play in a $7.70 satellite to try and earn a seat in one of the $55 tournaments.

Through the sit & so path it will cost your $82 to buy-in to daily 6-player sit & go satellites. Theses sit & go tourneys are winner-take-all, with first place earning a $450 ticket directly to the main event.
