Ignition Poker unleashes Black Diamond Poker Open

March Madness has come early at Ignition Poker, as large prize pools and big cashes will be available all month during the 8th Black Diamond Poker Open.

The Open runs throughout March with 139 events on the schedule and $4 million in prize money up for grabs. It all concludes with the main event, a $300,000 guaranteed No Limit Hold’em tournament on March 31.

The buy-in for the main event is $425 + $25, but you don’t have to have that much tucked away in your bank roll to earn a seat. Check out the latest at Ignition Poker.

There are a ton of satellite qualifiers running at Ignition to help you get a much cheaper seat in the main event. Satellite qualifiers start at $4 + $0.40 where players can take their first steps to earning a full buy-in to the main event.

If you want to speed up the process you can also buy-in to the higher satellite qualifier steps for $7 + $0.70, $25 + $2.50 or $50 + $5.

How does Ignition Poker Black Diamond Open work?

Aside from the main event there are tons of tournaments running throughout the Black Diamond Open. The regular $100,000 guaranteed tournament the Ignition runs every Sunday is getting as boost during the Open with an extra $8,000 being added to the prize pool in commemoration of the eighth anniversary of the event.

The action beings at Ignition every Sunday night at 6:08 p.m. ET.

If the main event is a little too rich for your blood and you can’t make the satellite qualifier journey work, the $100 + $9 Mini Main Event may be right for you. It takes place two hours before the main event on March 31 with a guaranteed prize of $88,000.

Buy-ins for Open tournaments start as low as $25+$2.50 and cover a wide variety of poker variations and games. You’ll find heads-up tournaments, bounty tournaments, monster stacks, six-max tournaments, and knockout tournaments.

Most tournaments are No-Limit Hold’em, but there are some Limit Hold’em, Omaha, both Pot-Limit and Limit on the schedule as well.
