The folks at 888poker are delivering a poker series designed for low stakes players. The ChampionChip Games delivers some large guaranteed prizes pools while keeping the buy-ins low and manageable for even small budget players.
The ChampionChip Games begins at 888poker on March 16 and runs until March 25. The schedule includes 36 events with buy-ins ranging from $2.20 to $55.
That includes the ChampionChip Games Mystery Bounty Main Event, which has an affordable $25 buy-in and a $100,000 guarantee. The main event also includes a mystery bounty payout worth $10,000.
The main event runs throughout the games as there are multiple Day 1 flights available. In each Day 1 flight players will start out with 10,000 chips and blinds will start at 20/40/5 ante. Blinds will increase every 12 minutes, except in Day 1 flights closer to Day 2 which is scheduled for March 24.
A Day 1 flight will end when either 11 percent of the field remains, or the tournament reaches level 20. All players remaining move on to Day 2 when mystery bounties are put in play. When only eight players are left those final players will make up the final table that will be broadcast live on the 888poker Twitch channel starting at 7 p.m. GMT.
If the $25 price tag on the main event is beyond your poker budget, you can also get in through a main event satellite tournament which has buy-ins starting as low as fifty cents. There are also chances to get into the tournament for free.
