The series began earlier this week and runs until May 29. The Mystery Series includes 26 events with a combined guaranteed prize pool of $500,000.
Buy-ins throughout the series, and in fact almost every day of the series, range from $11 to $109. The format for every tournament in the series is straight No-Limit Hold’em except for the final event of the series which is a PKO tournament. How does BetOnline Poker Mystery Series work?
Here’s an example of how a day might go during the Mystery Series. Let’s look at the tournament schedule for Friday, May 27. The first tournament on the schedule that day is a $11 NLH tournament with a $4,000 guaranteed. It begins at 3:30 p.m. eastern.
The next tournament on the 27th begin two hours later at 5:30 p.m. The buy-in for that tourney climbs to $22 and it has a $5,000 guarantee.
After another two hours passes the third tournament of the day starts at 7:30 p.m. and has a $55 buy-in. The tournament’s guarantee is $30,000.
The final tournament of the series on May 27th kicks off at 9:30 p.m. It has a $109 buy-in and a $10,000 guarantee.
The Main Event of the Mystery Series in on the final day, Sunday, May 29 starting at 1:00 p.m. It has a $109 buy-in and the largest guarantee of the series, $200,000.
