2019 World Series of Poker Europe Dates Announced

2019 World Series of Poker Europe dates have been announced and for the third straight year the event will be returning to the Czech Republic.

The King’s Resort Rozvadov in Rosvadov, Czech Republic will be hosting the WSOPE for the third consecutive year. The 2019 World Series of Poker Europe series is scheduled to run from October 15 to November 4 this year.

“We love hosting WSOP Europe and treating the game’s best players with our one-of-a-kind hospitality,” King’s Resort owner Leon Tsoukernik said in a press release.

“We hope players who have participated in WSOPE come back this year, and for those yet to make it out to King’s, we strongly encourage you to make plans to join us for Europe’s richest annual live poker festival.”

How many 2019 World Series of Poker Europe bracelets are up for grabs?

There will be 10 WSOP bracelets events in the series, including the €10,000 main event. The main event has been scheduled to run from October 25 to October 30. None of the other nine tournaments or their dates were announced.

Last year’s €10,000 main event drew 534 players, making it the second largest WSOPE main event in history. The last man standing from the 534-player field was the United Kingdom’s Jack Sinclair. That was Sinclair’s first WSOP bracelet win and earned him €1,222,239, which converted to approximately $ 1,277,013 US.

The biggest cash at last year’s WSOPE went to Czech Republic native Martin Kabrhel, who outlasted a 95-player field in the €100,000 No-Limit Hold’em Super High Roller. He won his second career WSOP bracelet and cashed €2,624,340, or approximately $2,990,088.

The WSOP Europe still has a long way to go to challenge the annual event hosted by the Rio in Las Vegas. But extending the brand into Europe and growing the event is certainly terrific for tournament poker and online poker alike.
