The folks at BetOnline Poker are closing out September with millions of dollars up for grabs in the $2.5 Million Championship Series.
The series runs from September 28 to October 12 with more than 100 events and over $2.5 million in guaranteed prize pools. The series has something for everyone with buy-ins ranging from $22 to $530.
If that’s still above your poker budget there are also satellite qualifiers to the big money event with buy-ins as low as $1.
If you’re most interested in the big money guarantees there are four tournaments on the series schedule with guarantees in six figures. The first two are on the opening day of the series on Sept. 28.
First up is a No-Limit Hold’em event with a $109 buy-in and $150,000 guarantee. Later in the day is a $100,000 guaranteed NLH PKO tournament with a $530 buy-in.
A week later the second Sunday of the series, October 5 there is a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool with a $162 buy-in.
The largest prize pool available is in the series main event on Sunday, October 12. The main event has a $400,000 guarantee and $215 buy-in.
The $2.5 Million Championship Series also has it owns leaderboard competition with $20,000 in cash and prizes available to be won. Throughout the series you receive leaderboard points for every event you play. The higher you finish in an event the more leaderboard points you will receive. At the end of the series the top players on the leaderboard will receive a share of the $20,000 prize pool.
