On top of the tournament gaming, the NJCOOP will include a leader board challenge known as Player of the Series. This option will provide the top 15 gamers of the series with prizes. The top finisher on the leader board will earn $2,000 in tournament tickets.
Garden State Super Series
As mentioned above, the Garden State Super Series will be the tournament offering provided by Party Poker and Borgata in regards to online poker gaming in New Jersey. This will be the fifth running of the GSSS with $1.1 million up for grabs in guaranteed prize money. This series will begin on the 9th of October and will feature several weeks of gaming. The tournament series will actually have 75 events on the schedule so there are many tournaments to take part in each day.
Buy-ins for events will begin at just $10 and go as high as $1,060. Players will have access to a nice variety of gaming options including Omaha, Hold’em and Stud. The final day of the series will include the Main Event which has a buy-in of $320 and includes reentry.
On top of the online gaming option, the Borgata will also be hosting a Deep Stacks Challenge in live game play. For players who are in the area, the live gaming options can be enjoyed from the 10th to the 21st and one event will be on the schedule each day. Buy-ins of these events will start at $100 and go as high as $260. Players can easily take part in the online gaming options provided by Borgata/Party Poker as well as enjoy the land based gaming contest. The Borgata will also be ramping up the Saturday Series for the 22nd of October, offering $100k guaranteed with a buy-in of $400.
