After a forum post and a little digging by online news source Pokerfuse.com, it was determined that online poker room Lock Poker will be offering new methods for payment exclusively for their VIP status players. These players will soon have access to new payment options which will improve the current processing time at the site.
According to the article, comments have been made in the past about new payments methods coming to the site and now a confirmation of sorts has been made. Over at the TwoPlusTwo forums, Shane Bridges, a spokesman for Lock Poker, commented that Lock Poker will be offering new payment methods beginning in the month of March. Bridges stated: “(It) looks like it’s all set to go live March 1st. it will be pretty exclusive and reserved the player we especially want to take care of.”
In their report, Pokerfuse pointed out that over the past few months; Lock Poker has received several complaints about how long their processing times are. US based players have had to wait for months to have payments processed and other countries have had similar problems. In the TwoPlusTwo posts, Bridges pointed out that the processing time will be must faster and the overall balancing out of the cash out load will be better with the new changes.
The post made by the Lock Poker representative was in response to a thread started at TwoPlusTwo titled March 2013—New Payment Processing Options??? This post was created with the link to a Gambling911 article which spoke about Lock Poker and player segregation. In the article, Gambling 911 states that they were informed that the new payment processing options will begin in March and they will be exclusively for Lock Poker VIP players. The new processes will reportedly include bank wires and checks with higher limits made available.
