Full Tilt Poker Adds New Games To Their Lineup

As per the announcement in mid-2013 Full Tilt Poker has gone ahead and released several new products to their lineup of games for players to choose from, including a wide range of casino games such as roulette and blackjack as well as a new version of Rush Poker called “Adrenaline Rush Poker.”

Interestingly, the casino games, which debuted on Wednesday, are being rolled out slowly in order to properly test the new casino’s exclusive features. Currently, testing has begun for free to play roulette and blackjack games. Once fully deployed, both single-player and multi-player versions of Full Tilt Poker’s casino games will be available to play for real money. Even though the Rational Group also owns PokerStars, they don’t have any plans to introduce casino games on that site.

In addition to the online casino, a new take of Rush Poker can be played at the Adrenaline Rush tables, a new fast-fold poker game where players can instantly fold their hands and get moved to a new table to play another hand within seconds. The point of difference between Rush Poker and the new Adrenaline Rush poker game format is that the action is now four-handed and players can buy-in for a maximum of 10 big blinds.

Due to the short stacked nature of the game there is basically no post-flop betting action, with players having to decide whether they like their hand enough to raise and go all the way with it or fold. You are not permitted to call while the betting is under the cap so the decisions couldn’t be any more straightforward. Therefore, there is no more betting action after the pre-flop betting round and so every player who has stayed in the hand is all-in before the flop.

Once the pre-flop betting round is over – all of the community cards are dealt, and it’s now just a case of seeing if you have come out the winner for that particular hand. There definitely is a lot of gambling involved in this game, which is made even crazier due to being short-handed with a maximum of four players that can sit at each table, so players will constantly be feeling the pressure of the rotating blinds.

It should go without saying that this game is suitable for those players who feel they lack post flop ability and don’t have time to wait around for premium starting hands to play the flop, turn and river with. There is only one decision to make and that is whether you should shove all-in pre-flop, so there isn’t much poker being played. But it’s still a fun and thrilling game to play, especially for action lovers.

It’s not a coincidence that “Adrenaline Rush Poker” was introduced at the same time as the lineup of casino games, as Full Tilt Poker would expect many of their casino players to try their luck at this new format of Rush Poker. At the time of writing this news update, Full Tilt only offers Adrenaline Rush Poker No-Limit Hold’em Cap games.

Since its inception in 2004, Full Tilt Poker was operating exclusively as an online poker room. This is actually the first time that the online poker giant has added non-poker games to their lineup in its attempt to increase its gaming revenue. Only time will tell if the Full Tilt Poker tournaments and cash games will become softer than they were due to the addition of their online casino.
